Ууу, Gearbox обявиха първото DLC за Duke Nukem Forever! Въпросното ще се казва Hail to the Icons Parody Pack и излиза тази есен за Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 и PC.
Какво ще включва DLC-то?
Четири нови мултиплеър карти, като всяка ще има и по едно ново оръжие. Картите съответно са:
• Call of Duke – Duke engages in modern combat in a war-torn city. Foes don’t stand a chance against the Duke when he spams the map with the N00b T00b. (мухахахахха)
• Sandbox – Players take the role of mini-Duke in a giant sandbox with two bases at either end made out of children’s toys. This map features Sticky Bombs.
• Inferno – Time machine engage! Duke does combat in a hellish landscape of lava and teleporters. Who turned on the 16-bit graphics, and more importantly, where did this DFG come from?
• 2Forts1Bridge – Hats? Duke doesn’t need no stinking hats. Give him a minigun and he’ll beat off all comers.
Та ако се ориентирам правилно новите оръжия би следвало да са Minigun, BFG 9000 (БЕ ФЕЕЕЕ ГЕЕЕЕЕЕЕЕЕЕЕЕЕЕ!), Sticky bomb и N00B T00B?
А картите са съответно намигвания към:
• Call of Duke – Call of Duty;
• Sandbox – нямам идея;
• Inferno – Doom;
• 2Forts1Bridge – Team Fortress.
Освен това играта ще добавя три нови режима:
• Freeze Tag – Players cooperate to freeze and shatter their opponents in succession for huge point streaks and combos. Режим очевидно вдъхновен от Quake 3!
• Hot Potato – See who can hold on to the babe the longest in Hot Potato.
• Hail to the King – free-for-all Duke style
Когато излезе, DLC-то ще бъде безплатно за First Access Club членовете, цени за останалите потребители все още няма.

За sandbox-a, бих предположил Worms, Revolt или Halo. Поне тези предложения ми идват в момента.

Аз първо се сетих за Garry’s Mod и дори Minecraft, но това с играчките и двете бази ме кара да мисля, че няма да е някоя от двете.

Ъмм.. Не е никак изключено да има някаква простотия вплетена в цялото нещо, но картата очевадно е вдъхновена от 2Fort от TF/TF2. Мисля, че доста ясно се вижда от скриншота.
